I have noticed that common history knowledge is based more on what TV movies show then real book learning.
In my rural high school in Kentucky I had a teacher tell some things as fact about history that I knew she had gotten from movies. While to many the truth of history is a bit of a bore, I find great enjoyment on old dusty books of history.

And millions of Americans believed (and still believe) Saddam had WMDs and helped with 9-11, but weren't the original reasons for the war in which 700 GIs have died in Iraq. Who's to blame for that, movies or the White House, FAUXNEWS, Der Ruschkopf and the rest of the vast, right-wing conspiracy fascist propaganda machine?
Or are people responsible for their own ignorance?

And people still deny the existence of the vast, right-wing conspiracy fascist propaganda network

Jesus Christ! Can the "Librul" engage in any conversation without reverting to his "Bush, stupid, lie, fascist" drivel? There are any number of issues that infuriate me and may lead me to an occasional rant, but his near-manic refrain has gotten to the point of being utterly absurd. That much hate has got to be eatin' the poor guy up...

Hey, Big Daddy, read what's at the links. And not only am I not eaten up by hate, I feel hopeful for my country since w will be gone next January.

Big Daddy. I agree. All of that hatred is not good for a person.

Yes, Gunner's right. That's why Der Ruschkopf had to take so many pain pills to deal with his debilitating hatred for libruls. We patriots, on the other hand, are merely fighting back, which you believe we aren't entitled to do.
