Economics 101
Walter Williams provides a little Economics 101 today.
Yes, indeed.

This is what this alleged professor calls a "lesson?" Maybe at Falwell's Liberty University, but not in any college I ever attended--all seven of them--or the two where I taught. Or for that matter in any of the high schools or even the middle schools where I taught. If I'd ever presented something this pitiful and called it a "lesson," my principal would have put a foot up my butt, and rightly so.
The only validity Williams' piece has is as what an actual teacher would use for a "non-example." In other words, "This is what isn't a lesson."
Chimpanistas now will accept any feel-good nonsense that "resignates" with what they're already used to hearing, especially if it doesn't bother them with things like, you know, facts, documentation or other irritating information.
But who needs information to learn something new when it feels so good to hear 2+2=5 after it's been repeated enough times to become true?
