Miracle?

Do miracles still happen? Perhaps they do.

Mary Dhume was watching television Monday night when the phone in the next room rang. She got up to answer it, but there was no one at the other end of the line.

Suddenly, she heard breaking glass and saw her living room wall collapse onto the chair where she'd been sitting.

A pickup truck had missed the curve on the road in front of Dhume's home and smashed into the century-old house.

Absolutely. One happened on 9/11.

Falwell was wrong. 9/11 wasn't punishment for anything. God protected us that day since we lacked a president capable of doing it. View the video and see Bush just sit there with that "chimp in the headlights" look while the WTC went up in flames, and who knew what else was about to happen.

Seven minutes of infamy and utter uselessness on 9/11, followed by another ten minutes wasted in a photo op. What if he'd been needed to use the launch codes? Did he already know he wouldn't have to? Or was he--and the rest of the country--just plain lucky he didn't have to launch anything after it was too late to do any good?
