Tsunami Relief

I just had a couple of friends return from Thailand where they were with a group from Brentwood Baptist Church taking part in a tsunami relief effort.

First impressions from chatting with them: The media coverage was dismal and not indicative of the situation at all. I also learned that the first wave (of three) that hit this particular area of Thailand was steaming hot and smelled of sulfur. That's something I hadn't heard of up until now.

They've promised an assessment of the trip and the situation there. Hopefully, I'll have that to post in the next couple of days.

Stay tuned for more...
