Junior Loves New York

See what you notice deep down in Page Six of the New York Post from September 25:

SIGHTINGS

BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie drinking red wine and then a complimentray grappa at Primola ... AMBIVALENT mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner at his brother's restaurant Almondito in the Hamptons with girlfriend Gigi Stone ... REP. Harold Ford Jr. (D-Tenn.) - a candidate for Majority Leader Bill Frist's Senate seat - having cocktails at the St. Regis with two hot blondes ... NEWLY single Jamie-Lynn DiScala and pals having a raucous girls' night out at Sushi Samba on Seventh Avenue.

Just passing it along...nothing more.

Isn't he married?

Yes he is.

His two bios on his website doesn't mention a wife. Oddly, one bio page says he has three brothers and a sister, but the other bio page doesn't mention the sister and says he only has two brothers.

Three brothers and a sister: http://www.house.gov/ford/biography.htm

Two brothers: http://www.house.gov/ford/just_the_facts.htm

I think that he is actually single.

The conflicting details on his bio pages is odd though.

I guess that's Harold Ford's idea of "focusing" on Katrina and Rita.....

No, he is not married.

And frankly, what he does on his free time and who no one's business.

Sorry, typo in my last post. Should read.

"And frankly, what he does on his free time and who he hangs with, is no one's business."

Thanks, CJ

Also, before I go, let me ask this one question.

Why do you guys insist on talking about non issues such as this when our state and nation are facing such tough challenges?

Harold Ford Jr. isn't sinking to this level and I don't believe he will. He is working towards real solutions in this race.

Plus, he has more cooth about him than to join in such discussions as this.

Chris...first, please don't post long links. Use the TinyURL link in the note above (in red) to put in small links. I am keeping your link intact, but just changing it to a TinyURL link so that my page isn't messed up as much.

Secondly, your beloved Junior doesn't seem to be really tackling those tough challenges that are facing the state and nation when he's missing votes in Congress and doing so much ethically questionable travel (all of which has been discussed here and elsewhere and does have a strong bearing on the Senate race).

This would definitely be a non-issue if he was actually taking care of the people's business, but I really haven't seen it. Sorry.

Ask Jr.Ford about his other brother and sister,Reginald and Donna Rogers. They are the elder siblings of Jr.In fact Donna has followed in the family tradition. She's a mortician.
