Christian Libertarians
Glen Dean feels that most Christians should be libertarians.
I can agree with that...because I am one as well.

Glen says, "but I do know that Christianity is about the individual becoming a better person and helping others."
There's a little bit more to it than that isn't there? That quote could describe Buddism. Christianity certainly ENTAILS becoming a better person, etc. But, s that what it's really ABOUT? Where's salvation in all this? I realize there is context but that sentence jumped out at me.

AC, you are right. Christianity is certainly about more than that. In that sentence though, I was merely trying to point out that when Jesus spoke of helping the poor, he was speaking to the individual and not governments. In other words, he was speaking to me, not the Romans.
