I think this here is important to note:
"The Health Department recommends those who are 65 years of age and over, and those who have chronic disease should get a flu shot. The best available protection against influenza during the flu season is to get a flu shot."
Personally, I don't know that anyone should get a flu shot. Everytime I got a flu shot -- I got the flu. When I didn't get I shot, rarely did I get the flu. I have heard similar anecdotal evidence from others. It seems to me the only thing a flu shot does is protect you from LAST YEAR'S flu. Anyway, my $.02.

I haven't had a flu shot for well over 15 years. During that time I probably had the flu 4 or 5 times with last year being the last time I had it.
Actually, the best protection is probably just carrying around a small bottle of Germ-X everywhere you go, washing your hands...and maybe wearing a surgical mask for good measure. lol

Blake, I'm ashamed of you. Pushing flu shots. Don't you know that there's a mechanism in that "vaccine" that can be activated by the government in order to control the population??? Geez.

Hey Scully. Maybe I should have re-thought that Smallpox innoculation. :)

Blake,
You and Leslie are both right. All "vaccinations" are just innoculations used to vaccinate the general public. Since the CDC was established we have been innoculating as many people as we can using various versions of the X-strain. This innoculation is actually an anti-virus given to us by aliens. It will help protect us from the invading aliens. Did I say invading aliens? I meant illegal aliens.
