The world that Orwell warned against grows in Chicago. Mayor Daley has embraced a plan that would require every licensed Chicago business that are open for more than twelve hours a day to install cameras both inside and outside of the business.

Since when has Chicago ever not been the exemplary city for the American ideals of law and order anyway?

It looks like what the dad did with nightsticks the son is doing with cameras.

Though I'm not opposed to whacking hippies with nightsticks in principle.
