The Truth Shall be Deleted
Mike Kopp is deleting comments. Apparently he can't handle dissenting views.
Sharon Cobb commented the following after having all of her's deleted:
Kopp deleted my post for a 3rd time. Here it is...again. NO legit blogger deletes comments just for a different view.
Mike, what are you so afraid of?
By the way...Kopp's "it's for the children" cliche is sickening. Kopp is a Democrat political operative who knows plenty of cliche, political hack hat tricks. If you believe his "it's for the children" reasoning for attacking Hobbs (ultimately causing Hobbs to loose lose his job), then I have a bridge to sell you up in Alaska. Of course, it's useless and leads to nowhere. Heh...kind of ironic, isn't it?
Update: Moore has more. So does Katherine Coble. And a big "Heh!" to Mark Rogers.
Comments:
Please Note! Failure to abide by the following may result in your comments being edited or deleted: Remain on topic. Foul language and/or personal attacks are not permitted. Excessive links (more than three per thread) must be approved first. If you do include a link in your comment, make sure it is a short link (go to tinyurl.com if it is too long). Try to keep comments to 125 words or less. Thank you.
I wonder what it feels like to be such an arrogant chunk of Democratic slime...Kopp is a joke. What's funnier is that he doesn't know it.

According to the Tennessean archives (March 1, 2006), Mike Kopp recently moved to a $349,972 house in a new-build subdivision in West Nashville.
I will be glad to provide the address to anyone willing to go to the neighborhood and investigating whether or not Kopp's new pad is really located in a "multi-racial, multi-cultural subdivision in West Nashville" where "a small group of children" and "several Muslim neighborhood families" reside...
Will someone PLEASE take me up on this???

BHB,
Thank you for the offer, but I'll pass. I wouldn't care if the children of Mohammed themselves lived in Mike's backyard.
His story is still ridiculous. It's like the politicians' version of Harlequin-Romance cliche. Right down to the florid "Shame on me". The only thing missing was a quote from either Lincoln, Franklin or Kennedy on "preserving our greatness for posterity."

Oh yeah...blogged about this bit this morning, but I want it out in as many places as possible. Kopp to Hobbs this am:
" Note to "Mo Toons" Hobbs:
Deleting moronic statements like yours from my blog and anywhere else is a form of free speech I intend to exercise freely and openly. You are quite literally "yesterday's news.""
----
Note the "...and anywhere else."
Kopp apparently feels that censoring others is his exercise of free speech.
Touching.

I really can't stop laughing. This guy cannot be serious!

This entire debacle makes me wonder if Mike Kopp's smear against Bill was part of his work as a paid political consultant for Gov. Bredesen's re-election campaign or if he just did on his own time because he's a jerk.

Kopp has in a matter of a day or so deleted more comments from his blog than I ever deleted non-spam comments from my blog in FOUR YEARS. That's hilariously funny.
Memo to Mike: I know you're a newbie in the blogosphere, so you deserve to be advised that deleting lots of comments makes you look bad unless you have a good reason to delete them, which in the blogosphere is generally accepted to be if the comments are off-topic or contain crude language or engage in vicious personal attack.
Calling your story a lie isn't a vicious attack, it is merely challenging your veracity because the over-the-top Hallmarkish quality of your story makes it seem so ... unrealistic.
Be a man, Kopp. If the story about the Muslim kids is true (*cough*), then be a man and let the critics challenge it. The more you delete comments challenging the story, the more you appear to be defending a lie.

For only $249.95, I can teach anyone how to both spell "lose," and how to preperly use an apostrophe. :)

Yeah, and for $10.00, I can teach anyone enough html to prevent immediate redirect, preventing an endless cycle of yet another 'man and his cat' blog.
Good luck Jeffrahambone.

Hah...you found my weakness. Lose and Loose. They're interchangeable, right? lol :)
Posted by: Blake at April 17, 2006 06:24 PM
Jeffraham,
How much will you pay me to learn how to properly spell "preperly"?
Posted by: anon at April 17, 2006 07:31 PM
Oh wow! Jeffraham! Another college dropout bachelor douchebag telling the story of his cats and how much beer he drinks!!
How original! Maybe next he'll tell us how much he hates dating!

I just had a great bowl of Raisin Bran and cup of coffee...it was Kick A$$...you can delete this if you want. Just wanted to say I am enjoying the Kopping. So, when you delete all these off topic comments or future deletions, you can say I have been Kopping.
