My Best Spot for WKRN's Storm Tracker

Well, I can officially release it now. This is a video I did back in May for News 2's video contest for the "Best Spot" promoting Storm Tracker. The contest promised $1,000 to the winner for the 30 second spot and the actual ad would be aired during the season premier of Lost.

Well, I won the contest with this spot. I got my $1,000, but the spot never aired. During the change in management at WKRN during the time of the contest, the choice was made to not show the spot.

Ah well. The fine print said they could change the rules whenever, so...it happens.

Anyway...here is the spot. During the making of it, I learned one thing...30 seconds isn't a very long time.

If I aw that on T.V. I would stop whatever I was doing and watch. It's funny, but more importantly it is unlike almost any other commercial on the air. People would sit up and take notice. Isn't that the idea?

BTW, $1000 is not too shabby. Congrats.
