Gen Cap buys Hobby-Lobby

A local buyout company has acquired 40-year-old Hobby-Lobby International Inc., a Brentwood-based retailer of radio-controlled model airplanes, helicopters and boats.

The Tennessee Supreme Court Tuesday afternoon denied an appeal, filed Monday by attorneys for Tennessee death row inmate Paul Dennis Reid, requesting that the court issue a stay of execution in his case.
