Now available in QuickTime. Just click on the image below.
You can still also see the video on YouTube if you can't view it here. You can also download just the intro (in QuickTime format) here...it comes without the bad news of the day.
The show seemed to be a great success. We were sold out and we packed them in with 60 people in attendance. We have another show coming up on September 8th, so be sure to come on out and see us. Don't forget to RSVP as well. We were having to turn people away Friday night.
Worst one yet, new software, drive time, Iran, not talking about that other story
Working with some new editing software and having to figure out the right compression...not to mention how to use it. If you get a chance, try to view the Quicktime version of the movie and leave a comment or email me letting me know if it takes too long to download (unless you're on dialup).
As I stated in the video blog this morning, a local media person of note is moving from one media outlet to another. Crack reporter for the Tennessean Trent Seibert is leaving to go to News 2.
Since coming from the Denver Post over a year and a half ago, Seibert has been a major force in rooting out corruption in the darkest corners of the state capitol. He's the bane of crooked politicians everywhere in the mid-state (and perhaps beyond). Now he will be moving from print to television. He'll even be getting his own blog at some point.
Seibert has been good at reaching out to blogs...from sharing information and tips to just keeping in touch with what's being discussed. When he came to Nashville, he immediately noticed the power that blogs were playing in state politics. Wisely, he leveraged that power...and it showed.
Seibert will no doubt be missed at the Tennessean, but corrupt politicians beware...he isn't going away...he's just going to be more dangerous.
Press releases will be coming later today from News2 I'm sure.
By the way...I don't think Mike Sechrist has been making any friends in the Tennessean's management lately. Not at all. heh
Mark your calendars for Friday, August 25th!
8pm at The 12th South Arts Venue
Improv Nashville is proud to debut Troupe 93
as the opening act for IN's Mainstage Troupe.
Tickets are $8 and reservations are REALLY recommended.
418-0905 or info@improvnashville.com
What is Troupe 93 you might ask? Well, it's Improv Nashville's new troupe...feature such improv actors as yours truly. The show probably won't be funny, so plan on showing up for later shows after we've gotten more funny...er.
