iPhone: New Hotness

Yep. I got one. Thanks to the help and diligence of mDave of NashvilleFeed.com. I also saw Rex Hammock walking around taking pictures and Pink Kitty somewhere back in line.

Interesting day to say the least.

Right now I'm waiting on the newest version of iTunes to download so I can activate this thing.

Update - 9:40pm: The new hotness has yet to be used. Why? Because activation is taking several hours. I do understand, though, as at least a million people are trying to activate theirs at the same time. However, it sucks that my old phone was automatically deactivated well before the iPhone has been activated (I'm actually already an AT&T customer).

Ah well. C'est la AT&T.

Brief Visit to Philadelphia

Flew up to Pennsylvania for a wedding this weekend. Yesterday, on the way out, I got a chance to get into Philly for a bit. As a lover of history (and liberty), I couldn't miss the chance to catch a few of the prominent sites there.

Nashville Amplified

A few months ago, I was contacted by a company that was publishing a book to promote Nashville. They were interested in using one of my pictures. This became my first paid, published photo. When I got back from my trip out of town this weekend, I found the book on my doorstep. Nashville Amplified.

I was surprised to have gotten a copy, and it looks like some other Nashville photographers got theirs as well.
