Are nine major airlines operating at the Nashville International Airport among them American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest and United. It is a secondary airport, which is why a ticket in Nashville may be more expensive than one for the near Memphis.
Nashville is connected to the rest of the United States from the Greyhound bus, but the most scenic route to reach the city is along the Natchez Trace Parkway, which starts in Natchez, Mississippi , and ends just south of Nashville, close to Hwy 100.
